Chamomile
Symptoms of fibromyalgia like disturbed sleep and increased anxiety are best relieved by chamomile that has a soothing effect. It encourages undisturbed sleep, lowers anxiety and improves the immune system. Chamomile works well to relieve fibromyalgia because it contains terpenoids and flavonoids that play a part in curing and preventing this condition. When taken as tea, this helps relieve some of the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Valerian Root
Valerian, like chamomile, is also a muscle relaxant. It helps reduce pain, improves sleep and reduces the number of pain points in the body. It is anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic, so it helps to reduce anxiety. You can take this herb either as tea, dietary supplement or add valerian oil to your bath. It will not only reduce the number of tender points in your body but also give you better sleep.

Dandelion
By drinking dandelion tea, fibromyalgia sufferers will have an improved immune system and blood circulation and reduced inflammation. It is also beneficial for patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) as it helps to relieve gastrointestinal ailments such as bloating and constipation. Make a cup of dandelion tea by brewing it with red clover and burdock root. For best results, drink about five cups of this tea per day.

Passion flower
Passion flower plays a significant role in relieving fibromyalgia symptoms by reducing insomnia and anxiety and nervousness. It increases the level of a chemical in the brain called GABA, which reduces brain activity, thus allowing you to sleep better. To get the benefit of this herb, make a herbal tea of it by soaking one teaspoon of its dried leaves in water for about 15 minutes. Takes about a week before you will see some improvement in your sleep quality.
