Pecan Brownies
One of the best places to eat in New Orleans is The Court of Two Sisters … here is their Pecan Brownie Recipe
Ingredients
½ Lb Butter
1¼ Cups Flour
3 Sq Baker’s Chocolate
2½ Cups Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Pecan Pieces
4 Eggs
Directions
Melt chocolate and butter in pan together. While melting, mix eggs and sugar. Sift flour into eggs and sugar. Add melted chocolate and butter and mix together. Add vanilla and pecans. Line 9″ cake pan, top and sides, with wax paper. Pour in mixture and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. After baking, remove from oven, turn over onto a plate and remove wax paper immediately. When cool, cut into squares.
